We were recently invited up to the resort by Henry from ABC Catering Supplies to commission the Infinity Restaurant Kitchen and to provide training to the staff on how to properly use their new Baron equipment.
The team at ABC Catering Supplies have been working hard over at the resort with not only having to organise getting all of the equipment over to the island, but handling all the fit-out and installation and we must say they have done a fantastic job so far.
The lineup of Baron equipment featured in the kitchen includes two high powered gas woks, a pasta cooker with noodle basket insert, a six burner gas cooktop with oven and a smooth plate chrome finish frytop. Out at the Teppanyaki station is a 1200 wide frytop on a refrigerated base with drawers.

With installation of the remaining kitchens still underway at the resort, we will make sure to update you as the progress unfolds.
"Following an extensive redevelopment Daydream Island resort now offers 277 refurbished modern rooms and suites with the choice of interconnecting rooms for families and special access rooms.
There is an expanded food and beverage offering across the island with three restaurants and three bars including an exciting new Asian Fusion restaurant which joins the buffet and modern Australian restaurants.
Daydream Island Resort’s event space will cater to major events and conferences, yet still provide a personal touch. Special events from cocktail parties to gala dinners can be catered for across a large range of indoor and outdoor event locations, with weddings continuing to play a part in the story of Daydream Island Resort."
